Um grande número de músicos de hard rock e heavy metal tomaram o Twitter para oferecer melhores votos ao lendário guitarrista do Black Sabbath Tony Iommi, que anunciou hoje cedo que ele foi diagnosticado com os estágios iniciais do linfoma, um câncer dos linfócitos, um tipo de célula que faz parte do sistema imunológico.
Iommi, 63, está atualmente trabalhando com seus médicos para estabelecer o melhor plano de tratamento e mantém-se otimista e determinado a fazer uma recuperação completa e bem sucedida.
Integrantes do BLACK SABBATH - Ozzy Osbourne (vocais), Tony Iommi (guitarra), Geezer Butler (baixo) e Bill Ward (bateria) - estão compondo e gravando seu primeiro álbum em 33 anos em Los Angeles (ainda com lançamento previsto para este Outono ) com o produtor Rick Rubin.
