É posso dizer que quando me apresentaram esse disco, foi um misto de gargalhada e curiosidade. Pra piorar acima do nome "METAL MANIA", a banda ou cantor era um tal de Robertinho de Recife. Não sei se já havia escutado alguma coisa dele. Até já ouvira falar que era um bom guitarrista. Quem trouxera o disco tinha moral comigo, o cara desenterrava coisas de todo o tipo. Vamos lá, primeira faixa (Fantasia Preto e Prata), clicou na link da música, clique e tenha a mesma surpresa que eu tive. Hum, ok, vamos ver a próxima faixa. Posso afirmar, que antes de (Fogo) terminar o refrão e a batida da música já tinha me pegado, ... Um desejo ardente me queima, como febre faz delirar. A terceira faixa dá nome ao álbum, (Metal Mania), bela faixa com um solo de guitarra bem estruturado. (Barbaridade), a faixa romântica, ficou muito boa, umas das faixas que mais escutei desse vinil. Putz, (O trem fantasma), que legal, metal e batida simples, a cereja do bolo, baita solo de bom gosto. 
Não acompanhei mais o trabalho do Robertinho, esse álbum foi tipo um homenagem ao Heavy Metal, não teria uma continuidade.

É isso, como pude ver em alguns sites e blogs, realmente Robertinho de Recife teve azar de ter nascido num país de terceiro mundo como o nosso, mas fica o registro.

You can say that when I had this album was a mix of laughter and curiosity. Worse above the name "METAL MANIA," the band or singer was such a Robertinho de Recife. I do not know whether I had ever heard anything from him. I even heard it was a good guitarist. Who brought me the disk had morals, the man dug up all sorts of things. C'mon, the first track (Fantasy Black and Silver), clicked the link of music, click and have the same surprise that I had. Um, ok, let's see the next track. I can say that before (Fire) finished the chorus and the beat of the music has had me ... A burning desire burns me, as fever is delirious. The third track gives name to the album (Metal Mania), beautiful track with a well-structured guitar solo. (Barbaridade), the romantic track, very good, one of the tracks that I heard that vinyl. Putz (The Ghost Train), nice, simple metal and rap, the icing on the cake, nice tasteful solo.
There followed more the work of Robertinho, this album was like a homage to Heavy Metal, no one would have continuity.
